Why is my AWB number and tracking link blank after payment?

Quick Summary

If your AWB number or tracking link returns as blank in the EasyParcel SG API response after payment, it is typically due to a temporary delay in the courier's system generating the label. To resolve this, wait a few minutes and re-run the EPPayOrderBulk request using the same order number; your wallet will not be charged again for a paid order. This solution is relevant to Singapore developers and businesses integrating the EasyParcel API to ensure all shipment data is correctly retrieved during periods of high system traffic.

After successfully paying for an order via EasyParcel’s API, you may notice that the AWB (Air Waybill) number and tracking link return as blank or missing in the API response. Don’t worry—this doesn’t necessarily mean the payment failed or the order didn’t go through.

Here’s what’s happening and how to resolve it.

What causes the blank AWB and tracking link?
In most cases, this issue occurs due to a delay or temporary issue on the courier’s side when generating the AWB and tracking information. Your order has likely been paid and accepted, but the system hasn't received the courier’s label and tracking data yet.

How to fix it: Re-run the pay order request
You can reattempt the request using the same order_no:
  • Wait a few minutes.

  • Call the EPPayOrderBulk endpoint again with the same order number.

NoteRe-running the payment request for a paid order will not deduct your credits again from your EasyParcel wallet.

Still Not Working?
If, after retrying the AWB, and tracking details are still not returned, please contact our EasyParcel Support Team. We’ll help you investigate and retrieve the missing information.
