Why do some couriers show drop-off options without listing drop-off points?

While using EasyParcel’s API, you might encounter couriers that offer drop-off options, but no drop-off point details are returned in the API response.

This is expected for certain courier partners, and in most cases, it doesn’t stop you from submitting your order or completing the delivery process.

Why are drop-off points missing?

Currently, not all couriers integrated with EasyParcel provide real-time drop-off point data through the API. This means:
  • The drop-off shipping method is still available and valid.

  • However, drop-off point details (like addresses or locations) might not appear in your API response.

These drop-off options are provided for reference only and are not required to complete your API order submission.

What should you do?

Even if no drop-off points are shown, you can still proceed with submitting your order using the drop-off option. Here's how:

Step 1: Submit your order as usual via the API order submission endpoint.

Step 2: Do not include drop-off point parameters—they are optional for these couriers.

Step 3: After the order is confirmed, you can drop off the parcel at any official drop-off location of the selected courier.

Some couriers support drop-off shipping methods but do not provide drop-off point details via API. You can still submit your order and use any valid drop-off location from the courier’s official list.
