Hey, EasyParcel fam! This article will explain how to set up live rates at checkout for your Shopify store using EasyParcel. Your shipping rate is calculated electronically by using the destination address and the total weight of the cart. Hence, your customer can select their preferred shipping method and the order will be imported using this shipping method.
2. Before getting started
Important! To enable live rate added at check out page, your store must be on the Shopify, Advanced or Plus plan. If you're on the Shopify plan, you can either add this feature for an additional monthly fee or switch to annual billing to activate it. For further details, please reach out to Shopify Support.
3. Guide to add live rates at the checkout page for the Shopify store by using EasyParcel Shopify APP
Step 1: In your Shopify admin, click on "Apps" and select the "EasyParcel- Delivery Made Easy" app.
Note: If you haven't yet installed the EasyParcel Shopify app, refer to these instructions to learn more about integrating with EasyParcel.
- Go to the "Setup" tab and activate the zone settings.
- The button will change to "Deactivate" when activated.
- Then, click the "Courier Setting" tab and click "Add Zone".
Note: You can set up different courier services for different areas or zones.
Step 3: Create a Zone Enter a "Zone Name" and "Destination," then click "Save".
Step 4: Add Courier Services: After saving the zone, you can add courier services by clicking "Add Courier Service".
Step 5: Courier Service Options
- Courier Service: Select your preferred courier service for this zone.
- Courier Display Name: Choose the name customers will see at checkout.
- Shipping Rate Setting (EasyParcel Member Rate): Display your EasyParcel member rate at checkout for customers to pay with their order.
- Shipping Rate Setting (Add-on EasyParcel Member Rate) & Add-On Options: Charge customers your EasyParcel member rate plus an additional amount or percentage.
- Shipping Rate (Fixed Rate): Charge customers a fixed shipping rate, regardless of location.
