How to enable the "Seller Own Fleet" (SOF) option on TikTok shop?


What is Seller Own Fleet (SOF) on TikTok?

Seller Own Fleet (SOF) is a special delivery service where sellers use their manpower to deliver products directly to buyers, instead of relying on TikTok's integrated logistics, but only for specific types of products that need extra care or handling. 
If you're a TikTok Shop seller in Singapore, you're allowed to use SOF, but only for certain products that require special handling, and you must have valid reasons, including but not limited to:
  • Goods that require installation (e.g., air conditioners, ceiling fans)

  • Temperature-sensitive goods (e.g., flowers, chocolate, vegetables, frozen or chilled food)

  • Dangerous goods (e.g., batteries, lighters, aerosols)

  • Fragile products (e.g., glassware, ceramics)

  • Bulky or heavy goods (based on weight and dimensions, e.g., furniture, large appliances)

Note: TikTok will assess your application based on your product type. If your items don't fall under the approved categories, you'll be required to use TikTok's integrated logistics.

How to Enable 'Seller Own Fleet' (SOF) on TikTok

Step 1: Log in to your TikTok Shop Seller Center

Step 2: Go to 'Shipping Options' and turn on ‘Seller Own Fleet’ as your fulfillment method

Step 3: Set Up Your Shipping Fee Template
To use SOF for any product, you'll first need to configure a shipping fee template. This allows you to define your delivery regions and fees.
3.1: Click 'Manage shipping fee template' > 'Edit'

         3.2: Choose the region which orders can't be delivered by your own Fleet.

        3.3: To set delivery areas, choose the region which orders can be delivered by your own Fleet and manually insert the weight range and shipping cost for the weight.

You must set a minimum weight range of 0–30KG with no upper limit. If the actual order exceeds this range, the customer will be charged the maximum shipping fee.


3.4: You can move unassigned areas into either delivery areas or excluded areas. Click 'Submit' and confirm to save the shipping fee template.

Step 4: Apply SOF Settings to Products
Once your shipping template is ready, your products will follow your shop’s SOF settings automatically.

Step 5: Ship Individual SOF Orders
Option A: Ship Orders Individually
a5.1: Filter out 'shipped from seller' orders

a5.2: Click 'Add tracking info' and manually input the Tracking ID, confirm the invoice and package details.

a5.3: Update the tracking number within 36 hours after marking it as shipped. 

a5.4: After 24 hours, the 'update delivery status' button will appear.

a5.5: Mark as Delivered (upload proof of delivery) or mark as Delivery Failed (choose a reason).

a5.6: Once marked delivered, the order will show in 'View Logistics'.


Option B: Ship SOF Orders in Bulk
Handling large volumes? You can process multiple SOF orders at once. 
b5.1: Select 'Shipped from seller', filter for SOF orders, and download the template. 

b5.2: Insert your shipping provider, tracking ID, and invoice no., then upload delivery status.

b5.3: Tab 'Update delivery status', choose packages and download the template.

b5.4: Upload the file again after you have inserted the delivery result.

b5.5: Your package delivery status is already done!

b5.6: Once the delivery status is successfully updated, the order will appear under ‘View Logistics’ (same as in Step a5.6).
